Nathaniel Bennett
Nathaniel Bennett is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Brigham Young University and leads the SySR lab. His research areas include systems and network security, cellular mobile networks and software vulnerability discovery techniques. His work to date has led to more than 100 discovered and patched CVEs, nearly a dozen publications at prominent security research venues including NDSS, IEEE S&P and ACM CCS, and two distinguished paper awards.
Nathaniel received his Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2026 from the University of Florida, where he was funded as an NSF Graduate Research Fellow. He received an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Florida in 2024 and a B.S. in Computer Science from Brigham Young University in 2022.
